Our Mission

Jessica and Armando have partnered in a number of different business ventures, including projects of social entrepreneurism. In the early 2000s, we helped open up opportunities for more than five hundred Mexicans by bringing them to work legally as temporary foreign workers for Alberta companies, who paid their airfare and all recruiting fees and helped them find accommodation. A number of these workers were our own family members. in one of which we brought more than five hundred disadvantaged Mexicans to Alberta, Canada, legally as temporary foreign workers, including many of our own family members. Their stories also inspired this novel and our next one about undocumented migrants in the U.S.
